Service Description

Recovering at home after surgery, an illness, injury, or a hospital stay can be both physically and emotionally challenging. Vampire Nurse on Wheels provides personalized in-home Recovery Support Visits to help you recover safely, monitor your progress, and provide the confidence and reassurance you need during your healing journey. During your visit, a Registered Nurse will assess your overall recovery, monitor your vital signs, evaluate pain and symptom management, assess mobility and your ability to safely perform daily activities, and reinforce your discharge instructions or treatment plan. We can also provide health education, answer your questions, and identify any concerns that may require follow-up with your healthcare provider. Recovery Support Visits are designed to complement the care provided by your physician, nurse practitioner, or surgical team—not replace it. With your consent, we can communicate relevant observations or concerns to your healthcare provider to help support continuity of care. Whether you're recovering from surgery, a medical procedure, hospitalization, illness, or injury, our goal is to help you recover safely and comfortably in the place you know best—home.
